About The "Gourds"
Hi there! We’re Eva and Liz — two friends who met over six years ago through work and quickly realized we shared a similar sassiness reminiscent of the ladies of The Golden Girls. With backgrounds in the customer service industry, we know how to make people feel welcome, and now we’re channeling that energy into something creative and a little magical to help make your home feel welcome.
We started this venture as a fun way to bring more beauty, joy, and autumn spirit into our own lives — and yours! What began as a simple idea quickly turned into a passion project, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
Our dream? To make the Big Mac, Cinderella, Jack pumpkins and all their festive friends your porch “regulars” year after year. Whether you’re going for cozy, spooky, or just something stunningly seasonal, we’re here to help make your fall decor unforgettable.
Thanks for supporting our small business and joining us on this pumpkin-filled journey!

Hi, I’m Eva!
Born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. I went to college to study Vocal Music Education, but like many in the service industry, I found myself making more money (and having more fun) on the restaurant floor than in a classroom. What started as a job quickly turned into a career, and I’ve been with the same restaurant group since 2008. I stepped into management in 2019 and haven’t looked back.
Outside of work, I’ve always chased creativity—from playing in local bands at bars, events, and weddings to shamelessly stealing the spotlight at karaoke nights. I’m also a self-proclaimed comedian; whether I’m cracking jokes at work or keeping friends entertained, I firmly believe laughter makes everything better.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my husband (who’s 100% fishing), catching up with friends, or daydreaming about retirement—because let’s be honest, that’s the goal we’re all hustling for.

Eccentric by nature and adventurous by choice, I’ve never been one to take the traditional path — and, honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. With a passport full of stamps from over 25 countries, I find inspiration in new places, people, and experiences!
That inspiration led me...
...to San Francisco to pursue my ballroom dance training. When I'm not slinging drinks at the restaurant, you can find me on the dance floor teaching my students or working with my coach. I am an active competitor and a world title holder in the UCWDC dance circuit.
...to become an entrepreneur & start Premier Dating Adventures (PDA), a one-of-a-kind event company helping singles in the OKC metro area find connection, community, and a safe space to just be themselves.
...to nearly 15 years in the hospitality industry, Where I’ve learned how to make people feel at home wherever they are and enjoy a schedule with freedom and flexibility. And with a Master’s in Counseling, I bring heart, empathy, and a deep understanding of people into everything I do.
Whether I’m spinning across a dance floor, planning events, or boarding a plane to somewhere new, I’m driven by a love of connection, creativity, curiosity and living life just left of ordinary.
